Finally More from EWR

On 30th March EWR wrote to the houses highlighted on the map above and told them their 'property may be affected' by the project. By that they meant demolished of loosing their garden or parking spaces.

Anyone who knows Bedford knows how multilingual the town is and Poets is no exception. However the original letter (and subsequent consultation pack) were only sent in English.

After repeated requests form our local councillors EWR have FINALLY issued a second letter to homes that had not responded to the first giving information in a number of languages.

They have however NOT to date written to any of the other homes in the area who, while not being subject to possible CPO's will be affected by having two new rail lines constructed through the area.

If you are aware of anyone who may be affected and who does not have English as a first language please get in touch with EWR urgently to request suitable information.
